Susannah Newman is a co-founder of the ImageMovemmentSound festivals and an Emeritus Professor of SUNY Brockport’s Department of Dance. As an independent artist, she is active in the creation of dance on camera, collaborating with both film and dance companies. Two of her works were screened at the 2005 NJ State Film Festival, where her editing and use of camera were cited. As a guest artist, she also continues to present workshops on “The Camera As Dancer.”
