Laura Smith is a freshman at SUNY Geneseo from Syracuse, NY. She has actively choreographed in the Syracuse area for local venues, including producing and choreographing a student-run dance concert the past two springs. She has studied dance with Mark Morris, Carla Maxwell and the José Limón Dance Company, former Paul Taylor Dance Company members, and Igal Perry. After college, she plans to fundraise for contemporary dance companies and other performing arts organizations.
