DESCRIPTION:
“the alley” is a screen dance that invites the viewer into a woman’s physical experience of violence through the evocative eye of the camera, specific movement vocabulary and driving rhythms. Editing choices mix dream with reality towards a heightening of danger, altering time and space and recreating the chaos of memory.
