DANIEL GIL-MARCA

Daniel Gil-Marca has gained recognition as an artist who pushes musical boundaries and blends genres and idioms. His first commission came from the Cesar Chavez Foundation and subsequent commissions include the SECC festival, Cali(IE) Hip Hop Festival, and Paragon Productions. Daniel is the recipient of numerous awards including Paul Sacher Award, First Interstate Award, Edna McLaughlin Award, and he has recently been honored as a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar. Daniel is currently a graduate student in composition at the Eastman School of Music.
