KEY OF d presents the metaphorical narrative of a journey to artistic freedom in which a classical pianist’s muse leads him through an interior landscape to take him, by her flirty and fun-loving dance, into a place where he can once again freely explore and discover true creativity in and through the music he is making. Through the creative elements of video, dramatic movement, sound and humor, this piece seeks to bring each of us to a new place of awakening in our own creative processes. Mozart’s Fantasia in D Minor is the musical foundation of this exploration.
