HEATHER ROFFE

Heather Roffe, MFA, is currently an adjunct assistant professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and an adjunct lecturer in the Dance Department at The College at Brockport. She produces the annual Bill Evans Dance Teachers Workshops, and is also co-coordinator of the 2008 Northeast Regional American College Dance Festival, in addition to performing at such venues as Jacob’s Pillow, the International Dance Festival, the New York State Dance Festival, Auburn University, Nazareth College, Rhode Island Dance Festival, and the American Dance Guild Festival. Roffe has performed with Assemblage Dance Company, Burnidge-Clark Dance, KTD Company, BIODance and Geomantics Dance Theatre. In 2006, she received the National Dance Organization’s award for Exceptional Promise in Performance and Post-Secondary Education. Her choreography has been presented in New York City; Rochester, NY; Minneapolis; Richmond, VA; and, at Jacob’s Pillow, MA.
