COURTNEY WORLD

Courtney World is an adjunct lecturer in dance at The College at Brockport and Nazareth College of Rochester. She was a 2006 recipient of the Graduate Friars Foundation Award for the performing arts while pursuing an MFA in performance and choreography at Brockport. She also holds a BA in Dance from the University at Buffalo. World has performed in choreography by James Hansen as a member of Assemblage Dance company at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and The International Dance Festival New York City. She has recently performed in choreography by Bill Evans and Juanita Suarez, and is currently a dancer with Biodance, Geomantics Dance Theater, and Kista Tucker Dance. World continues to choreograph and present her own work, which has been performed at the American College Dance Festival and ArtWalk Alive! in Rochester.
