MICHAELA EREMIASOVA

Czech composer Michaela Eremiasova studied composition at the Conservatory of Jaroslav Jezek in Prague, jazz composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and musicology at Charles University in Prague. Michaela is currently pursuing a PhD in Composition at the Eastman School of Music. She has won international awards for her music works and film scores. Her commissions include works for the Novus Trombone Quartet, The Commission Project, and the Robert G. Boehmler Foundation. She is presently a finalist in Europe's largest choral composition competition, C. A. Seghizzi 2008.
