Moving Parts, Emotive Fantasy creates a choreography of gesture and parts of the body to express the inherent tension between the body as machine (set in motion with the advent of the Industrial Revolution and referent to Maslow’s Theory of Coping) and the body as sentient whole (referent to Maslow’s Theory of Feeling).
